I have a Master's Degree in French and Spanish from The University of Edinburgh and a TEFL qualification. I have not only tutored privately for a number of families and for children of many ages, for example gaining a boy an A* for his GCSE French, but I have worked at a number of schools as a Teaching Assistant, where I have taught my own lessons. I have received a lot of positive feedback regarding my kind and enthusiastic approach to encourage children to learn. I enjoy challenging the children but believe it is important to ensure they have fun too. I am a personable, positive and driven character with a keen eye for detail. I plan my lessons in line with TEFL lesson structures. But first the most important thing is to understand each pupil on an individual basis, their thoughts, opinions and needs to learn a language, their ability, what they want to improve and their preferred approach to learning.
