She has good research experience in the area of biodegradable polymer and treatment of electronic-waste. Dr Simonnez has been full time lecturer in tertiary education institute in Singapore since January 2011. She nurtures a keen interest in delivering lectures and implementing knowledge sharing. Dr Simonnez’s teaching philosophy is to engage her students in such fun way that learning become a pleasure rather than a chore. Her pedagogical tactic is to promote interest in learning and her motto in teaching is embodied in one of her favourite quotes: Nobody trips over mountains.
