Hi parents/student, I'm currently working as a Biology Teacher in a secondary school in Singapore. I'm also teaching subjects such as science for lower secondary students and computer applications for both lower and upper secondary students. In addition, I have more than 2 years of teaching experience. Before I join Singapore MOE as a teacher, I was giving tuition classes for Primary 6 and Form 2 students. I taught them Science and Maths. My subjects of specialisation are science, maths, biology and chemistry. I have a deep interest and reasonably wide knowledge in these subjects. Literally I enjoy teaching these subjects. I believe that "Practice makes Perfect". Thus, my tutoring style is like I teach less but guide the students more in their learning especially when they practise what they had learnt earlier on. Most importantly, I have to make sure that they understand what they learn and monitor their progress. Moreover, I adopt a quite different teaching method in which I usually carry a laptop with me and show some related videos that pertain to subjects that students learn (Interactive learning).
