TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
I have had teaching experience as a full time tuition teacher as well as a private home tutor. The medium of instruction is in English. My students come from different backgrounds and nationalities; some pursuing their studies in local schools, while some in international schools. Thus, I am well-equipped with the knowledge of both the local and international schools syllabi. Teaching is my passion and I give full dedication to my students in order to assist them in doing well in exams (but perhaps more importantly, to enable students to have fun in the process). I have an impressive record in driving students to achieve A’s.
Before enrolment, there will be a consultation session to determine the student’s exact requirements. Additional materials such as workbooks, if required, will be separately charged. Each session typically ranges from 1.5 – 2 hours.
My typical Math syllabus is designed to give students a strong foundation so as to build a sense of confidence and achievement in the individual students. From there, students will approach each new level with minimal difficulty. In most cases, students start learning beyond their school levels once their core foundation has been established. Compilations of hundreds of solved math questions are provided to the students with step by step instructions. Queries, homework will be discussed and solved during class.
My English syllabus is highly competitive and rewarding. I incorporate various important core elements of the language which include grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary building, reading, listening, speaking, and writing in my English program. As such, an effective course plan would require 1-2 classes per week, depending on the student’s mastery goal and progress speed.
