Tell us more about you like: Hello and assalamualaikum to parents, students, tutors and agents.I’m Mohd. Izmar a.k.a. Cikgu Matt. Full time Tutor from Seri Kembangan, Selangor.
QUALIFICATION :
Bachelor of Science (Industrial Design), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering,Universiti Teknologi Malaysia,Johor.I have 2 years of experience in teaching primary and secondary students between Standard 4 to Form 3. Medium of instruction is usually in Malay and English. Simple English is used during lessons for easy understanding. However, I will communicate and teach in Bahasa Malaysia for better understanding. I have taught many students. Up till now, I have no problem when tutoring the student.
LESSON FORMAT:
Before we start off with the lessons, there will be a consultation session to determine your children needs such as their goals and weakness, etc. I will provide the learning materials. Every tutorial will begin with answering your children questions of interest. We will then spend more time on attempting questions and explaining mistakes made in the course of the tutorial.
TEACHING METHOD:
The education system in Malaysia is mostly exam orientated. Students are judged by the marks they scored in their final exam. From my experience as a student and a tutor, I realized the importance of exam answering skills.Hence, my teaching is exam orientated, which is exam focus tuition. The lesson will concentrate on 2 parts, first is formal teaching and secondly on attempting model exam questions. Formal teaching is important for student to get the basic knowledge of the subject. As you know, exams answering skills is the most essential in scoring an A. Therefore, practicing exam like questions will help students to learn, train them and further streamline their ability to perform well in exams and also in real life application. From there, student gets maximum exposure to exams questions. Explanations will be given on mistakes made and weakness pointed out to student to help them learn. When student are well exposed in attempting model exam questions, they will feel comfortable and confident in the real exam environment.
TRAVEL AREA :
I have my own transportation so I wont have problems getting to the students' place. Seri Kembangan, Serdang, Bandar Equine, Bandar Putra Permai, Bandar Kinrara,Bandar Baru Bangi, Putrajaya, Bukit Jalil, Puncak Jalil and surrounding area will not be a problem.
