I was given three months to prepare a student from Chinese school background, for the PMR exams. He was doing poorly in school and had always failed English. We went through the basics in English, and guided him through writing exercises. He scored a "B" in English for the PMR exams and his parents were delighted. As for the student, it was a pleasant surprise for him.
