I have 15 years experience in education related matters, with 12 years experience teaching both undergraduates and A Levels/STPM students (the latter in private capacity, not with any institution). I focus more on a personalised approach even if it is in a classroom setting with more than 1 student. I also focus on getting the student to understand the subject matter at a fundamental level so that the subject matter becomes logical and meaningful, not something you feel you are forced to learn for the sake of learning. That would help students excel by appreciating the subject matter. I provide basic notes in a printed form per subject matter area and no less than 8 hours per month (2 hours per class). I am willing to spend an extra 15 minutes after class hours if a student has further questions at no additional charge. |
