I'm a very capable, experienced, knowledgeable, kind, patient, cool and entertaining tutor. I'm a Canadian graduate from York University in Toronto and have been teaching English in Malaysia since 2001. I specialise in writing skills and vocabulary. My lessons are never boring as I always incorporate relevant knowledge into my lessons to further enhance the student's learning experience. I have a great sense of humour and I'm definitely not your conventionally dull "tuition teacher". I speak the lingo of young people, I understand their concerns and I do not lose my temper easily. I read, write and draw in my leisure time and I will certainly leave a lasting, positive impression on your child, apart from giving their English language skills a serious boost. My favourite level to teach is IGCSE First Language (0500), but I am equally skilled with other levels, including IGCSE Literature in English (0475). I am currently available only for online lessons due to the pandemic situation.
