During my PhD candidature, I have produced research journals which are indexed in the Web of Science, book chapters, and participated in various innovation competitions and international conferences withgood outcomes. I have greatly enjoyed the teaching opportunities I have had as a postgraduate and this adds to my motivation and dream to seriously consider teaching as part of my academic career. Thus, as an educator, I hope to advance the intellectual development of my students to the best of my abilities. My postgraduate journey has enlightened me it is imperative that we, as researchers, also understand our commitment to being educators in ensuring that students are aware of the importance and practical applications of science in everyday life, to make them understand what the role of a scientist is and how they can become one or advocate for science.
