My teaching style has always been about understanding where a student is coming from, then working from there. I love recognising a student's individuality and strengths because most times, they have everything they need to achieve what they want. I have more than 6 years of working with teenagers under my belt and about 5 years in teaching. During this time, I have found that I work best with students who are at risk, who find learning challenging and those who are really tired of learning English! As a rough estimate, I have probably taught more than 200 students both for English and History - my 2 favourite subjects! Over the years, I have: - coordinated youth leadership camps, - designed and managed a financial literacy programme for The Edge Education Foundation for at-risk students, and - taught at the Life Enrichment Centrre where I worked with children with dyslexia.  During my free time, I like to read and work on my digital art.
